If you’re holding this, something big has changed. Maybe it happened slowly, over months of conversations that went nowhere. Maybe it happened in an afternoon. Maybe you chose it, maybe you didn’t, and maybe the honest answer is somewhere in between.
I don’t know your whole story, and I won’t pretend to. But you picked up something called a survival guide, which tells me you’d like more than a pat on the shoulder. You’d like something you can use.
So here is what I can offer: honest company. Ideas grounded in good research and ordinary common sense. Words to borrow when your own run out. And now and then, permission to laugh, because life will ask you to find two matching socks on the very same day everything changes.
Find a comfortable spot. Take your time. I’m glad you’re here.

Questions, answered plainly
What you receive, how it arrives, and what this guide is and isn’t.
What exactly will I receive?
One PDF file of 34 A5 pages: an introduction, six chapters, a reset page for difficult days, support lines and sources, and a final letter. Nothing is posted to you.
How do I get it after I pay?
After checkout you’ll receive a link to download the PDF, sent to the email address you used at checkout. If you can’t find it, check your spam folder, or write to us and we’ll help.
Can I read it on my phone?
Yes. It’s a standard PDF, so it opens on phones, tablets and computers. The pages are A5, a small-book size: comfortable on a tablet or computer, and readable on a phone with a little zoom.
Can I print it?
Yes, for your own use. The pages print well on A5 paper, or two to a sheet on A4 or US Letter.
Is this medical or psychological advice?
No. The guide offers general information and encouragement. It hasn’t been clinically reviewed, and it can’t replace care from someone who knows you. If you’re struggling, a doctor or licensed counselor can help you find the next step, and page 33 lists support lines in several countries. If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number.
Where does the research come from?
Where an idea draws on research, the page says so in plain words. Page 33 lists the studies behind those pages, with guidance from the WHO, the NHS, NIMH, the American Academy of Pediatrics, AACAP and Harvard’s Center on the Developing Child. Its links and phone numbers were checked in October 2026.
Who is it for?
Mothers who are newly single, however it happened: slowly or all at once, chosen, unchosen, or somewhere in between. It doesn’t assume a timeline. Some pages are for the days when everything arrives at once; others are for later, when you’re finding your feet again. Open it wherever you are.
Is it a subscription?
No. It’s a single purchase of one PDF.
What if it isn’t right for me?
