These terms apply when you use groundedchapters.com or buy a guide from us. Please read them with our Refund Policy, our Privacy Policy and our Digital Delivery information.

“We” and “us” mean Grounded Chapters, which is operated by [[P01: legal name of the business or of the person who owns it]]. “You” means the person using the store or buying a guide.

1. What we sell

Grounded Chapters publishes digital guides, delivered as downloadable PDF files. We don’t ship physical books or other items. Each product page describes what the guide contains, its format and its length, and shows sample pages. We take care to keep these descriptions accurate. If we find a mistake, we will correct it.

2. Our store

The store runs on Shopify, and payments are processed by our payment providers at checkout. When you buy, you agree to provide accurate information, including an email address you can access, because that is where your guide is delivered.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars unless the store displays another currency for your region. Taxes, where they apply, are calculated at checkout and shown before you pay. You pay the price shown at checkout when you place your order.

If a guide is listed at an obviously wrong price because of an error, we may cancel the order before it is delivered. If we do, we will tell you and refund any payment in full.

4. Delivery

Guides are delivered digitally, as described in our Digital Delivery information. If your guide doesn’t arrive or won’t open, write to support@groundedchapters.com and we’ll help.

5. Your license to use the guide

When you buy a guide, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to read it and use it for your own non-commercial purposes. You may:

• keep copies on your own devices;
• print it for your own use.

You may not:

• share, send, upload or sell the file, or a copy of it, to anyone else;
• post the file, or substantial parts of it, online or in a shared drive, group or course;
• remove our name, copyright notice or other identifying information;
• present the guide, or parts of it, as your own work.

6. Who owns the content

The guides and the content of this store belong to us or are used under license. This includes the text, design, illustrations and photographs. Buying a guide gives you the license described above; it doesn’t transfer ownership. Short quotations for review or commentary, with credit, are welcome where the law allows them.

7. General information, not professional advice

Our guides offer general educational information, reflection and encouragement. They are not medical, psychological, legal, financial or other professional advice, and they are not a substitute for care from a qualified professional who knows your situation. Our first guide has not been clinically reviewed. If you are in danger or need urgent help, contact your local emergency number. Our editorial information explains more.

8. Refunds

Our Refund Policy explains when and how we refund purchases. It doesn’t limit any rights you have under the consumer law where you live.

9. Using the store responsibly

Please don’t misuse the store. That includes trying to get into parts of it you aren’t meant to access, interfering with how it works, or using it for anything unlawful.

10. Our responsibility to you

We take reasonable care to make our guides accurate and useful, but we can’t promise that every piece of information will suit your circumstances, or will stay current after publication. Links and phone numbers in a guide were correct when we checked them, and may change later.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where that would be unlawful. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top shows the latest version. The terms that applied when you placed an order continue to apply to that order.

12. Law and disputes
